still dont think they will compete with the redline on the pulling track

Definately stronger than the redline. I even got too cocky at the last pull and tried 4th low on a heavy sled. OOOOPs...too heavy.LOL The box is badazz though.

No they dont work on all trucks.

There is no way it can't work. He does the fueling just like how the redline does it, completely takes over the vp. If you can't hit 4k, it is because the vp can't do it, not the box. I've sold a few of the 4k boxes & I have 3 myself, they all work.

Sorry still going to stick with the redline over the quad is been proven over and over again on the track! See what happens with my old orange truck this summer!

well why is this local truck poping cutting out and having the machine gun effect then when its hooked to a sled. The 4k box is great on the street but not behind a sled. Im glad he came out and said he had to take a redline apart to figure out how to make his box work.

He really came out and said that? When? I have no idea about your friends truck. If I had to guess, he probably has his pulse adjusted wrong like 50% of the people who have trouble. The Quad is a little rough at factory redline, but that only depends on how you come into the throttle. I just punch it through the floorboard and ride the clutch out the hole. I never had it fall on its face. If I gradually enter into the factory redline, I will get a sputter, but if I adjust my pulse to full fuel at 80% throttle, that sputter goes away.

just floor it huh??? Thatswhy alot of pulling trucks will stick with a redline, most ppl like to gradually bring there rpms up while they slip the clutch, took me awhile to get used to it, one time i started slipping the clutch to soon at it fell on its face, like down to 2900, but still climbed back up to 3800, then i swapped inj and came off the line right the next time and it fell down to 3600, but got back up to 4000 and carried that down the track

Thats why I went with the Quad, I now have a rev limiter, just pound it & go. The redline was too picky about its fueling. It had the machine gun effect & would shut my fuel pump down. Even though I had a switched power source, it still kicked off the ecm, then back on. I got stomped at Mercer last year because my truck fell on its face hard while launching.

i'd still like to see wat the differnce would be. i love my redline but hat e the popin off the line. makes my truck sound bad but i guess i will see how some off yall do. post up some videos yall. i'd like to try just not extra $ layin around. still waitin on mike to finish my pump to.

Y does it pop??? Mine will only pop and crack if you stab the throttle, you bring the rpms up nice at gradual it wont pop and crack. If your redline was kickin your pump off there was something else goin on there! And what alot of ppl dont know about redlines is where to set the fueling at when hooked to a sled!
