sleppulling vs. drag racing

From what I have seen I would say pulling, I am sure that the drag guys have there fair share of O sh!ts. I just think that a truck will have more trouble trying to pull a sled that weights X number of pounds from a dead stop than a truck that only has to move its own wieght on the drag strip. :umno:
 
drag racin lasts about 7-14 seconds and pullin is 18-24 seconds give or take
so motor is workin twice as long, and as stated - fightin the whole 300' whereas drag racin once launched and a couple shifts the hard part is all done unlike pullin where theweight comes on an off as fast/often as traction comes n goes
 
It doesn't matter how much weight you have in your wallet, either choice (drag racing or sled pulling) will break it...:bang
