Smarty trouble?!?

Yea well jus from recent injector trouble we have had with other trucks seems to be different then this but I guess thats what ill have to do is jus pull them out and get them tested....but ive got a railpressure guage coming its been on backorder for like a month now

I'm with the other guys, classic injector symptoms! Injectors are easy to pull, and get them tested. On another note i would say its time to get a rail pressure gauge with all that pressure you don't want to break a injector tip off and end up through your pistons!

Yea no joke my brother did that on a second gen he used to have...and it deffinetely made an impact in the ole bank account.

I would turn down the pressure on your smarty when are not drag racing or sled pulling or whenever you don't require full power. I run most of my settings on the stock settings with sw9 for fueling. My truck shifts much smoother like this. And believe me, it still runs plenty good. This will help your injectors live longer.

yea ive been running the pressure on zero here lately usually on sw 5 or something.. i havent pulled the injectors out yet im goin to probly tommorow but im still thinkin its something electrical because ive never had an injector go out of a truck and make it lope and then die like mines doing after i get on it...from what ive experienced with bad injectors they just rattle alot and white smoke quite a bit?

Dont know about the rattle, but a second thing to check. Is your intake sucking shut? A buddie of mine was sucking his intake shut on a twinned '06, pull like crazy then nothing would cough, white smoke almost die. He could bump it to neutral and in like 5-10 seconds it would be fine. It was also worse the longer ho drove, due to the rubber getting warm and softer. If you don't have hard starts, or fuel in the oil, I'd check that also.

that sounds really similar to what mines doing...would it lope real bad and white smoke a lot?
