spoolup

i have a s400 66mm with 250ddp inj hrvp44 and quad box and i cant get it spolled till about 2700rpm ad it is a 6 speed

you mean like cruising and then mash it it wont spool untill 2700, what housing do you have. Thats really laggy, with a 6 speed sled pulling you should be ok.

Outlaw, I was talking to Josh about it not spooling the other night. THe first thing we came up with is that the VP44 may be weak enough that it doesn't time the injection event correctly or it just injects fuel very sloppy.

I was wondering if you leave a small boost leak in the intake manifold if it will get up on the charger then? Maybe take out a nitrous jet and leave the hole unplugged for a test run?

so leave the hole unplugged in my intake where my jet goes in? I will try it I dont have nitrous on my truck.lol

I figured I would mention this anyone ever spray there trucks to go through the stall????? If i spray the truck I can get the truck to stall higher and of course make more boost at the line. should I be able to do this???

Stall is only relevant to a given power level.

Thats normal. Have u ever gotten the cladder yes :hehe:

yeah she has sputterd before I need to go to a proggressive controller to do the stuff Im doing. Im tenative about the converter being the problem. There is a guy in my other thread saying I need to change turbo's its to big for a 24v but I know tons of people running them everyday with a 1900-2000 stall.

If you can't spool it with spray, then you'll definitely need a looser converter. Goerend has a good track record with getting the stall right, even if it takes two tries.

X2 its hard to beat daves converters live time warrenty who can macth that??

Ah. I thought you meant it still wouldn't spool past the converter. I'd call Dave, tell him what stalls you see now with and without nitrous and he'll be able figure it out from there.

with a 17cm mine lightes around 1700

These are mid frame chargers there not going to light like a small frame S300

Buddy of mine had an issue spooling his hx55 a few years ago. Mach 4's, tst competition/ez, water/meth. Thought it was just the heat of the day. Went to a dyno that night and only laid down like 450hp. Turns out his injection pump was getting weak. Swapped that out and has been running fine ever since.
