Are your stacks black chrome?

The first picture shows the 6" Aluminized exhaust pipe that we miter cut. I just sanded/prepped it with a lot 0000 steel wool and manual labor. Then painted with rattle can Stove Pipe Black paint.

is that all a part of a kit you bought ? I like that piece that passes through the bed. Where might I find that ?

I used a six by six chunk of galvanized square tubing, actually just a chunk of guard rail. And capped both ends then used three foot pieces of five inch exhaust pipe from napa, with a five inch elbow welded to the bottom going through the bed with a five to four reducer hooked into my existing exhaust. Then painted the whole setup black. I have less than 200 dollars in the whole setup.

This is the best I can do right now of mine. It started raining and I don't feel like crawling underneath it.
Here's where the exhaust follows up the side of the frame rail(top right of pic is a 90 that connects to the exhaust and then you can see it go straight up along the frame rail then it turns over the top of the frame rail):

Here's where it looks like as it comes over the top of the frame rail:

Here's the bottom of the bed. On the other side is the plate pictured below. This was a 90 I cut down and welded onto the bottom of the plate. It connects with the 2 other 90's with about 6" of flex pipe.

Here's the plate on the inside of the bed:

And then here's what it looks like from the outside. Gotta lose the 5" stack sometime and get a 6".

Already had the 4" exhaust, just pulled the tail pipe off right after the cab. Then the 3 90's I bought from the local semi parts dealer, as well as the clamps, stack, etc.

Not a kit. I just drew up the pieces I needed and then ordered from the cheapest place what I did not have in the garage. The "Stack" was some left over 6" OD that Michael at Hot Rod Diesels cut to my length and then mitered for me.

For the piece through the bed I cut a piece of 3/16 scrap plate 7 1/2 x 7 1/2. Cut a 6" diameter hole in the middle. Took a 5" ID to 6" ID adapter and set in the hole. It will drop in to just where the 6" part starts. Welded the back side and used J & B Weld on the top to look pretty. Drill 4 corner holes, prep, paint and bolt it in. Then the 6" OD stack sits in tight as does the 5" OD elbow used below. Clamp it up.

The 5 inch staxx clamp is like $130! have they lost their mind?

Yes Lost Mind is the only good excuse I have for the high dollar parts I used with the minimal cost of everything else.:bang

Just couldn't resist the Staxx Clamp or the Rain Cap. Although the rain cap has turned out to be very useful. Works perfect and never any soot after rain. The clamp I could have made from scrap in the garage and would have been just as functional and looked ok. But I have no will power or common sense sometimes, especially late at night after a "few" beers, a credit card and the Internet. LOL LOL
