Started the Twins

I agree with brandon on the port for a boost pressure gauge coming off of the bottom turbo. Those are some beautiful welds.

If you're that picky, I'll just tack them and take them to someone that knows how to weld.

Looking GREAT scot! I'd put a 1/8npt bung into the cold pipe for when you want to 'tune' the secondary's wastegate. I wouldn't worry about the drive pressure variance from front-to-back.

Actually, I was gonna have you do that anyway:D I just hadn't told you yet!
Just picking on ya! Your weld have gotten much better since I helped you on the golf cart project:D

Have'nt had much spare time to work on the twins, plus was looking for a tight radius 4" u-bend for the cold pipe. Found a 4" u-bend with a 4.5" rcl, the normal on is 6" rcl. also fabed up the cold pipe transition out of the lower turbo, should have the cold pipe complete this weekend.

What aren't you sure about with it? Looks great to me! Does that place you bought the "U-bend" from have them in 3" ID as well?

I can't find the website right know, I have the invoice at work, I'll post it tomorrow.

Looks like it might be trouble to get the air intake to fit, was going to try a 6" dia tube & filter. (the rubber coupler is 5.5 to 6)

I still think it looks great! Also, your intake is MIA like another head in a thread around here.

Think he is talking about you milling the intake plenum off for a ZZ or equivalent.

There's no intake plenum left on the side of the head. There's a picture of RedStroke's twins that are on a head which looks like yours.

Thats next on the list, collecting bits & pieces for it also. The guy that is going to build the intake just finished up on a proto type for the new kenny bell blower for the ford lightning trucks. As soon as he gets his CNC welder fixed (not for the intake job) he's starting on the 12v intake. CNC welded pictures below, no filler rod used, after welded it is very lightly hit with a scotch brite sander....

That's impressive! I guess it's a heliarc CNC welder? What kinda intake are you thinking?

I like how all of the cold pipe is done with v bands instead of boots and clamps. where did you get the aluminum v band flanges at in 4"??
