Alright so my truck in the morning warm or cold more in the cold though will start first crank for about three seconds then lopes hard and dies then if I crank on it for a while making sure the starter is not to hot it will eventually start if it does not kill my battery first. I have been trying to figure this out but cannot and it is not throwing any codes! Anybody help or know a free mechanic in gulfport ms lol thanks

Sounds like the VP may be taking a poo, or air is getting into the system.

There are no codes and no other fueling problems that I can tell it fuels great and starts and runs perfect unless it sits overnight which makes me think its air wher would you test that at the injectors or to the pump or after the pump before the injectors

check your transfer pump pressure thats what it sounds like to me.

what is the easiest way to check you transfer pump pressure?

on your 99 you should be able to take out one of the brass plugs on top of the fuel filter housing and put a gauge in there.
