I was wondering that same thing myself. Thought about trying to make my own rings.RideIcon said:dont they make rings to fit 8" subs in 10" holes?
Well I emailed this guy about that box, and he told me that the box wasnt available in 8's and he dosnt make custom boxes. Back to the drawning bored.wideopen said:If they make a box for a set of 10's I'm sure they can make that same box for 2 8's Check with the company that makes that enclosure.
Try this: http://cgi.ebay.com/DODGE-TRUCK-12-...ryZ50566QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
Email them and see if they will cut the holes for 8's Vs. 12's.
Never thought about that before. I just might half to try that.jamesl said:just buy the prebuilt box if you not into fabbing, and have a new face put on it for 8's instead of 10's would take all of 30 mins to do...

Dude, thats the best dang idea ive heard yet!!! :rockwoot: :rockwoot:jamesl said:if you wanted to get really crafty you could just leave the 10" holes and put the 8" hole/plate behind it so the speakers are counter sunk into the box.
