stock bottom end and rpms

I'd just go to a Cummins dealer somewhere to get the bearings. Somebody else might know of a better place or better bearings but that's what I'd do until you take it apart and balance/lighten everything

You sure the vibration isn't your nerves watching the tach wrap that far?

you might have been right! swung her up to about 4200 rpms tonight and she felt fine :rockwoot: my poor truck!!

you are an idiot and know nothing about how a p-pump works if you took the plate out of it

Why is he an idiot? I run 4k very frequently with no fuel plate. And have been for about 2 years and pulled about 8 times? So I take it im an idiot too huh?

:hehe: enlighten me o wise one

I am still waiting for this explenation as to why i and others are idiots for running no plate. And i want facts not the, i think bull****.:pop:

Chalk me up as an idiot too. I added 15ft on a back to back pull by taking the plate out. Same track, sled, weight and all.

Ive seen redline run and id have to say if i had a 12v ib be an idiot too. Nice running truck man.

That is a bit harsh. I guess his thoughts are that the rack might stick. Ive dynoed my truck with the plate in and the plate out and saw no HP gain. I guess my plate is cut enough that the arm dosnt even touch it anyway.

It could be deep enough already but I think I remembered you saying you had never modified the AFC for more travel. If you do that then I promise you'll gain HP.

I plan on pulling my plate out and just adjusting the Gov. arm to ride on the AFC foot once I put the 215 injectors in...

Yeah man, I modded it the next day and put a heavy spring in. Drives great..:Cheer:

Had my plate out for about 3 years, plus about a dozen pulls. No problems:rockwoot:

I reckon Im in the same boat as the rest of ya... Still Kinda waitin on a reply though???:poke:

Stock bottom end with 12mm bolts to boot never here. My truck revs to 5500 or so and will hold 4200 down track. Pulled it apart today and bearings are gone but not any worse than I would have figured on a 2 year old motor.
