I am rebuilding my ve motor and I was wondering what everyone is doing with the stock fuel filter delete. I have a 165 air dog on it so I don't need it. A friend of mine said leave it open but just seeing what u guys think?

I'd plug it, that way the orifices won't rust up on you if one decides to go back to it later down the road.

Maybe I'm thinking wrong, but doesn't a mechanical fuel pump block off plate for a 350 chevy engine fit perfectly for this? I think that's what I used to block mine off anyway...

Leave the filter on to keep away any corrosion, just don't plumb any fuel to it?? That work?
