Holey chit, what started the fire??? Did he go down with it?
Is it that one that was in his lot all burnt up? A white one I think.

This... If it working why try to fix it?
Your wrong. Torque them down, you'll be fine. JMOI want to do something about my stock un-torqued bolt, but they are holding 70psi so it's hard to want to mess with. I'm sure studs would be far better though.

dip them in unicorn piss and torque them at 5lb increments. wait 6 weeks between every 5lb increase
This is similar to what I do but I take 2 days to do it.Far as I know with Jeff and most likely Darren, they are just reg. Stock bolts... Mine were in my CR.. But once again, I tend to break chit no matter what, but they did hold quite well for 4-6k miles.. ( Hard miles) on that motor.
As far as pattern... Same ol circle motion from inside out..
50,75,100,110,115,120,125,130,135,140,145,150. Allowing 5-10 between each.
Takes a long a$$ time but it worked...
(disclaimer again) Listen to me at your own risk. lol
Same as a stud. Your choice, you don't have to go to 150. I stop at 135-140ft/lbs.ugh. its just sketchy to do! i want to do it. but... then again i hate risking breaking a bolt or cracking a water jacket.

No they don't stretch, they break. So you're saying the ARP studs stretch like the stock head bolts? Um, no.
:lolly: Damnit.....have you ever had a mouthful of soda while reading chit like that and uncontrollably needed to spit it out, while thinking you could contain it if you kept your mouth shut only to realize your fackin nose was the next place of least resistance. Sunofa!

Head gaskets blow with arp 2000 studs as well. So why spend 400 to chance it? That's all I'm saying. If your not gonna get 625's, then why bother with the 2000s.No they don't stretch at all. Seriously. You make it sound like every set of arp studs installed has a 90% breakage rate. How many really break that haven't been reused several times? Even if one was to break on install, it shouldn't be hard to get out if everything was properly prepped before initial install. I've heard of them breaking, but it isn't as common as stock head bolt head gaskets blowing with high boost.
