Stud "corrosion"

Not sure about the H11 material but I know on some fasteners you are NOT supposed to touch them with your bare hands because the moisture and oils in your skin can eventually cause damage. I know for sure that it's true for ARPs L19 rod bolts
 
You are definitely not seeing a corrosion failure. It is a materials failure. And should be warrantied. Better qc during hardening is needed.
Max got an arp sponsorship when his h11's did the same thing in front of an arp vendor at world finals...

This is very interesting... A1 is replacing it but my confidence in the other studs is at an all time low. This sucks though, feel like I can't trust any of the big guys!
