stumped!!!

does any one know what wire i need to hooked up to for the tach on a 2000 superduty that had a 7.3.my tach dosent read over 500rpm no matter how much pedal i give it but when i hook to the pcs it reads the right rpm.:bang

4 pulse ? White with pink I believe pin 19 or 21 IIRC cut it off from the pcm and feed your tach sig to the non pcm side.
