Well i finally got on the almighty David Dunbar's dyno this weekend. I dynoed friday at suncoast on fuel ony and did 568/1119 wich is consistant with the last time I was on a dyno. I ran again saturday after getting the nitrous fixed. I had to run all over just to find a jet. With a 65 jet and 650 pounds of bottle pressure I did 599.63hp and 1197.41tq, alk about a :kick: I never thought I'd be that guy.
 
I would have but that's why I didn get to run it friday with the nitrous. The jet fell out when I pulled it to see how big it was and when I put it back together the threads botomed out and split the fitting. I'll get it next time I guess. I think David wanted it as bad as I did once he did the 599 pull. I gotta figure out what to do about a primary for the new sticks and I hope to beat that on fuel.
 
that is a very small jet, and with out bottle pressure you did good to make that much power.
with a progressive system, and 1 .125 jet you would pick up a lot of power, turning it on at half a lbs of boost , and ramping it to 100% by 20 psi
 
Here are the vids, it cleaned up what little bit of smoke was left with the small shot. David said the boost guage flew past 60psi on the guage so everything was there but a mosquito to fart in front of the secondary to give me the little bit I needed. I plan to throw bigger injectors in tomorrow if they come and think about a primary that will clean them up.

Greg, I plan on a better kit after I get the injectors and a bigger primary and see what I need. David looked at me a little funny when I plugged the solenoid into the ciggarette lighter and handed him a green button and told him to just hit it when it felt right:hehe:. My little compucar kit is a gem though.
 
.125 jet is a lot of spray period, no matter how or when you bring it on.
A .073 is all ive needed so far.... I have the ability of lots more. On a overfueled 12v it hits very hard.

I think with a better amount of bottle pressure I would have been fine. I wasnt looking to spray an extra 100hp out of it I just wanted 600, no more no less. I'm gonna try another solenoid and some better lines and bottle pressure next time. I turns out there is alot more to nitrous than I thought.
 
with the power you gained on that size jet at the correct bottle pressure youll probably double the increase you saw. bring it up to 1100 or so and youll definitely break 600

I'll look into it Greg. I dont really need anything crazy just enough to clear up the smoke from the new sticks I'm getting.
 
Very nice Pete!!! You should leave a slight haze when choosing your jet, just to be safe.
 
Pete, can you either post a graph or email me a graph? I'd just like to see how your torque curve lines up with mine. I had a funky curve & I think it has to do with the small charger.
