Superduty wiring, WTF?!

Idk, waiting on the lift to free up so I can take the cab off the donor truck and get the engine.

Past that almost everything is ready for it.
 
can you post which wires you used? it will help me if i ever get to do my swap.

Yellow is a key hot, run wire. Green is the start only wire. Those splice connections were opened up to fit the wires and soldered then covered in liquid electrical tape.

That is the fused wire I tapped for the gauge power.
 
Hey roachie have you put cruise control on your rig yet? Thats the harness to the right in the bottom pic.
 
How useful is the 20 page manual from fordcummins.com? Debating whether or not i need it.

Also, im reading that i need a F150 cruise controll deal.... Sorry for the derail just trying to figure out What im getting into.
 
it wasnt alll that helpful to me, only part i remember lookin at was the wiring for the external reg...and yes to the f150 cruise control.
 
The manual for the vp engines tells you the wires that have to be connected and where to connect them.

I don't have it yet.
 
Im pretty shure im missing this somewhere but what year of f150 cruise controll?
