You basing this off calculations or real world? And which turbine?
I was gonna say, I'll probably never be 785hp with the t3 s300.. Not with a p-pump anyways ha ha

I know, seems Really high right?

I guess it should be noted . I'm running a T4 , so your results my vary with T3
We are allowed .250 map grooveThe borg SXE 363 is rated a 785hp in the catalog. i would use the large exhaust wheel if i was going for max power with the 1.0 AR
compressor map can be viewed hear under the tab graphs http://www.jegs.com/i/BorgWarner/156/13009097047/10002/-1
i would only assume more power could be had by opening up the map groove if allowed in your class
in my local street work class i run a SXE 366 large exhaust wheel it is rated at 875 HP in the catalog. i have chassis dynoed 860hp on one dyno and 886 on another. turbo works amazing
I'm using a T4 , second gen BD manifold
I'm running a steed speed t4 with an adapter to t3..
What is your current exaust housing ? And exaust wheel ? Any waist gate ?
These guys have a 0.80 AR. Non gate I'd stick with the large wheel! http://www.agpturbo.com/new-borg-warner-agp-s300-sxe-non-wastegated-2nd-gen-cummins/
They also have 0.80 AR gated for another 500$
Switch to the new 73/80 sxe turbine and I bet you're issues with keeping it lit disappear.
I bet they don't.
