This shaft is not Aermet. During destructive testing on a different shaft, not this new one that's for sale, permanent deformation (failure from an engineering standpoint) occurred at 2200 ft lbs, although the shaft did not fail/break.

Correct, this is TCS Arizona, not Canada. Also, marketing numbers can be deceiving on the torque rating of shafts. This shaft will withstand 2200 ft lbs without permanent deformation, the ultimate yield strength is much higher, just like the 2700 number claimed by TCS Canada. I'm not trying to start a shaft war in this for sale thread, but from what I've seen, these USA raw material 300m TCS Arizona shafts are stronger than the Canadian raw material 300m TCS Canada shafts. You need to step up to the USA raw material Aermet TCS Canada shaft to get greater holding capacity.

I've talked to Rusty at TCS (Arizona) a few times. He said he has only seen two of his shafts break that were ever brought to his attention. One he was certain the converter wasn't installed all the way by the way it broke the shaft. But warrantied it anyway. These are awesome shafts with STRICT quality control. Hense the very few breakage cases.
