It's kind of hard to tell exactly what you're doing, but it does look like a caress with a little envy thrown in. I feel bad for you with DeRanged's engine issues. :frown: But I can understand. I am sure the Powerstroke nation will forgive you. :hehe:
 
Hell JOn, its a cummins, I wasn't even sure what I was doing. LOL In all seriousness, I had the privilege of helping on Johns crew last year in Dallas. We swapped heads on it overnight. John was patient as hell with me, and I learned a few things, but when it comes to that car, I try to do what I can, but I'll leave the tough stuff for the pro's.

In retrospect, it looks like i was about to pinch her nipples. LOL

LOL LOL Yea that's kind of along the lines I was thinking too.

I know what you mean, I have helped Michael with three Cummins rebuilds now (They do break, just nature of the BEAST. I try to help and learn without getting in the way.

Once again I can only imagine the disappointment with DeRanged. I was looking forward to seeing it make history and put down big time numbers. I am sure you will get it back together and put down those numbers. I just hope I am there to witness it in person. :Cheer:

You know the Cummins swap BS won't go away until then. Just gotta have a thick skin with this crowd. ;)

I did in my first run, I was like WTF is that guy doing here. Guess it all about having fun. If he did blow it up or something, he would only be out like 500 bucks anyways.

You seem to be missing one pass? The one with the old Dodge pickup that got ya over a second LOL

Fun time guys, great to meet some of you for the 1st time. Truck ran good and got me home. I just could not stage it right and it showed. For some reason the truck is pushing through the breaks and loading extremely hard after recent tranny rebuild. It did this in LA and HRP Friday only. This is why I clicked my second bulb on accident when trying to build boost against Stelly. Did not know I did it and looked up and light was green and he was moving.

I will have a in cab video of my 10:70 pass posted soon. Surprisingly you cant really hear the enormous nitrous backfire it had. But you can see the correction from the back end moving around on the big end.

The backfire caused me to nearly choke on crawfish... LOL
 
Man we had a blast. Thank you Danny for all the food... Lets hope you got some financial help with all of that....I offered....He wouldnt take any, what a nice guy Danny is.... Our last 2 pass` were botched. We got home & we wadded up another converter..we need a lock up or a clutch or something...I wish everyone had name tags at these events. It`s so hard to keep everybody straight at these get togethers. Thanks to everyone that puts this event on.
 
Thanks to all that came out and made this a successful event.
I had a blast, can't wait to do it again.

Thanks, but I have to say I don't ever recall in my life time being called the P word as many times in one night as friday the 7th 2010:doh:



BUT I did drive her back on the trailer in one piece with all her parts and fluids in place:kick:

Just so everyone reading this is clear, David refused to race me after him calling me out. So we tried making him run me by lining up behind him in the lanes and talking to the track officials to pair us up but he pulled out of line avoiding the race.

David, you should have raced me as we weren't running that good and I blew a boot off on that pass that you pull off. Oh but wait I did still run a 11.0 loosing the boot at 1000ft, How fast did you run that night? :owned:

Even though this was just our local monthly DLRA TDS at HRP it felt like a real diesel event for sure. John Robinson and his funny car, Michael with his Pro-Street back together, Max and the Cummins Express, Stelly with the 11 second Duramax, Tim with DeRanged :(, yes even David with a re-animated Snow White, Red F250 Ford that gave Snow White all she wanted and a good number of other diesel daily drivers. A lot of supporters in attendance and Danny with the bugs (sausage, ham, corn, potatoes, mushrooms and celery) :woohoo:.

Might not have been TS, but it was definitely a lot of fun. Thanks to Michael, David and Joe for sponsoring and providing the constant banter.LOL

Glad to see all the supporters in attendance. Thanks to John Robinson for making the trip. :clap: Hopefully we can talk the out of town guys into coming down a few more times this year. DeRanged needs to have a good track to break in the new motor and I want to see the final results in person. :st:
