the stroke is out and getting prepped for a cummins

removed my powerstroke yesterday, it took me 6 hours but at least it is out, i will have to upload the pics to a album becasue they are to large to upload.

i made it a couple of steps further this afternoon, i got the engine compartment pressure washed and ready for the chassis saver paint adn i also have the painless harness ready to go back on the motor.:snoop:

Did you have to take off the turbo to get it out?? Or did you raise the cab.

thanks, I did remove the turbo because my exhaust brake was in the way, it came out pretty easily. I hope the cummins goes in like that.
 
Remember to put the motormounts on the motor first then set the motor with all accesorys on and check radiator clearances before bolting it in.
