Just curious to see how the world of P24V compares to me......
Brandon

Just took mine to 30 degrees and its working really well now. Seems like 24v's really like a lot of timing.

I have played with mine alot anywhere form 15-40, 30-32 works well for me

you guys running 30+ are you running custom injectors with a tighter spray, or modified pistons?

do you know whether you are in the bowl or not?

I run 6x12s still in the bowl stock pistons with .045 off the top

36 by plunger lift. Will be checking it by the light today and then seeing what the difference in timing is between 181s, 131's, and 191's by the light.

Brandon I like to see the light difference on yrs , I can go pretty hi now am I still in the bowl? dunno I pulled the head the other day to replace a gasket and there were no signs of OOB markings , I hear some say when its hazing alot there out of the bowl this true ?? But u forgot one thing in yr post what is yr timing ?

i lost my paper with the plunger lift chart.

anyone know where to find plunger lift specs for timing on a 913 pump?

mine is supposed to be at 20*, but i pulled the head due to leaking head gasket, and there's no indication that its even slightly out of the bowl. how much more could i go on stock internals with a fireringed head and studs?

@ 30* mine was barely out of the bowl w/ standard Mach7's and .093" lines & tubes

30* here Getting ready to try 35* and another click on the CDS 5k springs

This is with 6x18 custom injectors massaged for higher timing

besides headgaskets, what else is high timing hard on?

is there a significantly larger amount of force on the rods, bottom end etc.

the starter or the ether can... :hehe:

IMO, I think high timing at lower rpms (under a load) is where it's the hardest on the internals. I don't think running high timing at 4500 rpm is any harder than modest timing at 2000 rpm.

Don't forget batteries!

12 valve sealing washers, 6x15 scheid injectors set to 4500, .093 lines and tubes, 30* and working okay but stuck with the 5 speed and 3.55 gears

I've only got one battery right now. I need to put my other one back in. My water system really drains it going down the track...

I assume you guys are going by plunger lift?
