Timing smoke help

Going to pull 3 degrees out and see what that does. If it's better cool if not I will go 3 the other way. Love my adjustable gear

Well taking 3 degrees out definitely made the pump a lot more quiet but the fuel knock is still there. Only sounds like 1 cylinder is doing it. Injectors will be checked next week

Well I shot each cylinder with a temp Guage. 1,2,5,6 were all right near 225 degrees. 3,4 were near 345ish.whay would this mean? Valve Lash off on these 2 cylinders or could it be pop off pressure is bad on those 2. Motor was at 185 degrees when temps were taken

On the duramaxes I've checked that way they had a hung open injector so the cool cylinder was the culprit. Massive amounts of fuel at idle cools it down. But a smaller amount should heat it up. If I was going to have some tested I would go ahead and test them all.
