Tips for adjusting TV cable ?

Dan, can this stop screw be adjusted to say let the throttle valve only return to 10% 20% or 30% etc.?

Yes I have mine right about 50%, so theoretically my TV will never be less than 50%.

You will probably break the cable, and then proceed to smoke the tranny.
BPonci had a different lever that looked pretty cool. Or there is a stop screw you can adjust on the VB to only let the throttle valve return to 50%. It will make your shifts later and more firm, and might even cause it to hang in gear.

Not sure how a different lever would change the effect of later harder shifts. How does anyone get past the partial throttle pressure problem (having little line pressureto support high horsepower motors at low throttle) without making shifts harder?? I havent had anyone answer that yet.. Or is there a good answer?

for racing, zip tie that thing all the way open so you have full pressure right off the line........ just don't forget to cut the zip tie for the drive home.
