Tire size for pulling a CR???

nope 17s are the smallest. the brakes are to big 17s are close anyway. Im not sure if you could run a 16 with a big offset probably not and it would look goofy IMO

You can run 16 inch wheels. I used the 2" offset last year. It actually looks pretty mean.

thats cool what kind of wheels were you running. Ive always wondered if you could get them to clear the calipers and did you have to grind on them

So 2inch off set front and rear? Thats probably illegal in most puling organaztions.

I run M.T. Claws. A buddy of mine runs TRXUS STS. Last year his 2001 truck wasnt ready and he offered to let me use his rear set of TRXUS on a sandy track we were pulling on. We put on 2" spacers and the 16" wheels cleared perfectly...but I think they were American Eagle and the backspacing was fairly deep. It may not work with every 16" wheel but it did on these.

KMan - There are no rules addressing offset with our "podunk" leauge. I liked the idea of letting my tires run a different track so I kept the offset when I went back to my Claws.

First of all...I apologize for not getting pictures yet.

Second of all...Im fairly dumb some times when I describe things. With that I think when i said offset I was meaning spacers. But, with the American Eagle wheels - there was really deep backspacing/offset??? (which would it be)?? So when I was running the 16" wheels in the sand they did stick out at least 4 inches more.

When I ran the spacers with my 17" Mikey T Classic wheels the backspace/offset is not as deep so they dont stick out very far.

2 inch spacers and 2 inch offset those had to stick out really far
