tires in wheels for pulling

...
just curious what is the difference between mounted on 17in verse 16in, that makes such improvement? thanks

not trying to speak for someone else but I took it as he meant there is a substantial PRICE difference from 16" to 17" STSs. The difference is about $50 PER TIRE!. :kick:

but with a truxus sts on a 16 inch rim 33/12.50's are actually only 12.20 wide where the same tire on a 17 inch rim is 12.70 wide!

Anybody run the courser c/t? Didnt know what yall thought bout them?

taylorsville tire in taylorsville, IN is a dealer for them. those tires are fairly high priced for being a low quality tire they dont last long

The C/T's work decent around here. I know of a coule guys that ran them before and did pretty good with them.

i have a set of 33x12.50's truxus sts for a 17 inch rim, have 2 thousand or so on them. would like to trade for tire of same size with better street wear. PM if interested.

wish i had some to trade, the only thing i got is a 305/70r17 buckshot mudder radial, there round 50% tread on them.

Hey 'Mo that's what Jacob Bradford and Chris Cracraft used to run back in the day when they dominated the street class.

I ran them on my current '97 in 315/75/16 (35's) when I first started pulling but with only 3.55 gears I couldn't get my power to the ground. I ran a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T's (NOT Revo's) when I was doing pretty good in '06 but Courser's have gone up so much since then I went with a cheaper M/T for this year.

I would highly recommend them if he want's to spend the $$ on them. ;)

well ended up purchasing kumho road venture all terrain on black eagle alloy 197. wondering what you guys think about them and if any one is running them
