Make sure if you run a gapless ring on the second that it doesn't deprive your top ring of lubrication. Remember too much pressure in the 1st - second ringland area we have to keep pressure minimized to prevent ring and piston damage.

Are you going to run forged pistons in a weekend rig?

Sorry i am not well educated on the subject. I plan to run big bowl fly cut pistons with a hamilton cam. It will have a balanced bottom end and upgraded fasteners. But the rest is in the air. I have a double diamond block, usa rods and a brazil crank. I plan to put my ported head with mild bowl work and smoothed out the exhaust runners.
