No. You should just sell them to me for cheap. I'll find something they will fit on. ;)
 
My truck came with redneck "spider" towing mirrors.

I bet it would look sharp with some regular mirrors.

So any painless ideas on how to up the looks of old Blue? I don't know what to do, that's why I have left it just like it is for 2 1/2 years. Just put some plastic buttons in the bolt holes and buy some regular mirrors?

I don't tow but once a year anymore. The hand shaker feels under worked just being a commuter.
 
Anybody know if these towing mirrors for the 99-02 will fit on a 1996? I know the electrical connector is different. Is that the only thing that need to be swapped out for them to fit???

man, go get you some body plugs and a bottle/can of dupli-color paint that matches your paint code. You can either install them, mask them off and shoot them, or shoot them before you install them.

It won't win any beauty contests, but at least they might actually let it in the door to WATCH the contest!! :poke:

Best of my knowledge they will, but I have not had one apart to say for sure. All you should have to do is pull the triangular trim piece that covers the mirror mounting bolts and look.

They will. Some have done it, straight swap.
 
I might have to quit tinkering with the cummins and take care of the awful mirror situation from the previous knucklehead owner. That said, those big spider mirrors sure are nice when you get in and out in icy conditions. They are also great handles for shutting the door after the lady enters.

I'm 26, can you believe that I have let those things slide for 2 1/2 years?
