track bars yes or no for the work stock class

From a safety standpoint I say allow them.

I dont know of any WS(stock turbo) trucks making anywhere close to that hp.

A 3rd gen cummins can make a warm 500 with a stock charger and I know a Duramax can make north of 500 with a stock charger easily since its already a 2.5" charger already. Then add in the Cheetah chargers that can make it a 71mm charger in the stock housing. And the 6.4 Powerstrokes are over 600 now with a stock charger I believe...

Gotta remember WS has different rules in different parts of the country also.

:thankyou2: a lot of guys do'nt know whats being done. and some internal work and BINGO 650+ hp. it is part of my job to know these things. that is why i posted those #, just to see if it would come out. And by the way: price of a u-joint $20.00 to $28.00 bucks and a little time, i will give you that. TRIP TO THE HOSPITAL to get a hunk of iron out of your foot, leg, head, eye PRICELESS. :st:

I say run them. There are people that dont want to run with trucks with bars, hanging weight, stacks etc because they think there gonna get spanked but there are also guys that dont pull cause they see half the class tearing up there driveline. just sayin

I knew they were 500 to 550 but i didint know they were going higher

yup they are gaining even more with modded stock chargers..like I said they still appear stock...also with the modded chargers they can run more fuel obviouslly creating much more power:ford:

For years I have watched the famed NWPAT&TPA run their gasser trash work stock class.A very competitive class that has some of most pig headed pullers I have ever met in it.

Stock bumper or no bumper, no traction bars no tires bigger than, blah blah blah.

And what did we get to see? 460 Eff TWee Fiddys and BBCs BOUNCING to the frigging moon. With the occasional wood bedded 440 losing 2x4 bed sides down the track he was bouncing so hard.

Watched and learned.

NADM Work Stock, bring your traction bars with you boys, they are legal!!!!:welcome:

:blahblah1:

And you can pull against someone like Calander with a built DMax and a Cheetah turbo while he carries the left front tire down the track. Yep, that's work stock.

:hehe:

Of course, Kevin had bars out the wazoo and still bounced like the Fords always have for 35 years!!!

Keep in mind, when Calendar was pulling, there was no 2.6.
Also, by keeping the purses down in WS, has kept the ringers out. Last year not one WS competitor made two pulls, different class at every hook. That was what we were shooting for.
I am the master Kevin, bow down!!!:poke::stab::hehe:
