Whats everybody running for a trans temp? I have an 06 quadcab laramie with a 48re. My tranny toasted the converter (hopefully nothing else) just replaced it with a unit from Phil down at Garmons. The temp came down some but not as cool as the guys I run with. Im at 170-180, and thats reading from a bullydog outlook monitor. Everybody else seems to be around the 140-150 range. What gives? Any ideas? Theories?

I generally run 70* above ambient reading in the HOT line when locked up. In the VB I generally read 100* above ambient under all driving conditions.
HOT line temps varies drastically when towing or driving in traffic with the converter unlocked. VB temps are more average.
