What is your guys opinion on running a bellhousing blanket on a street truck. I will be sled pulling the truck on occasion, and I know it would be wise to use one in that situation, but would you leave it on for street driving? High rpm street truck, nv4500. Would you guys recommend it or is it not really needed?

We have people around here that take them one and off. It's kind of a pain but the blanket holds in too much heat with street driving

I would put it on for pulling and pull it off for street driving. I've never put one on a NV4500 but for a NV5600 I can get mine on or off in about ten minutes.

Will it still build up quite a bit of heat if it only covers the bellhousing?
