Trans shift problems

My 5r110 is having shifting problems, the 3-4 shift is flaring really bad, I'm running a pcs controller behind a cummins. I was told the direct drive solenoid could be the culprit. Any ideas?

just saw this, was looking for your number again. to call about the springs.

is it a stock solenoid or a suncoast?
