triple disc clutch

I ordered a 3600lb plate load 12.25" disc cermaic buttons with a bronze inlay kenny said he was gonna fab up a clutch arm to fit it properly. And its suppose to be ready next tuesday or wed

I will be at a midsouth diesel pullers. Pull that. Weekend. There aint no classes for me at scheids maybe next time

is ther a spacer plate for the bell housing or a longer input shaft needed for these triple disc clutch from kennys or sb or valair ? we just put a haisley triple disc in a prostreet truck n we had to put a bell housing spacer in and a longer input shaft

Kennys fits all in the bell housin with the exception of the clutch arm only on the 3600 and 4200s don't know on the others I have saw some others that said the was the need for more space and other modded parts

kennys clutch works with the stock length input because he makes his own hubs in house unlike haisley. he steps the bottom hud to the middle hub to allow for clearence.

Anyone ever ran a mcloed street twin. I am thinkin about one for my gas 5.0 ford pull truck what do yall think? The price is a lot better round $895 with dual organic disc.

We put a Kenny's triple in a six speed with zero mods to the tranny or the arm. It was a 3200 plate load though.

The McCloud street twin is a good clutch, but will not handle alot of abuse.

The triple I put in last week required alot of fab work to get it to fit. Kenny is doing a new arm to make it a drop in for easy install. I will say it is an awesome clutch. We pulled it at the State fair on Monday, and will be at a couple of pulls this weekend as well as Scheid next weekend. I don't know why anyone would run a double disk after running these Kennys clutches. Both turned out very nice. The 4200 pound plate load diaphram cover is very easy to push, and the clutches separate very easy to allow gear changes with minimam drag.

I think if you put a triple in a 5 spd truck is where you have to do the mods at. Such as the input shaft and bell housing spacer. I don't know if thats with all of the triples or jus a few brands.

all i had to mod was the fork and used a longer splined input shaft to run my triple in a 5 speed, it's a 10.5" weighted.

Smokin cummins does that triple disc with 4200 push with still stock hydros? I talked to kenny he said he was gonna make a custon arm. Sorry to hear about ur 13 somthing hour puttin that triple in. I hope mine don't take that long

:hehe: Yea, I was pretty well beat after wrestling that thing all day. Oh well, the customer loves it and I doubt he will wear it out any time soon. The 4200 pushes about as hard as a stock clutch, but it does have HD hydro's.

where the throw out bearin rides?

Yes, that was the only thing we had to do to get the clutch to fit. Pretty easy in my opinion. I have only pulled twice on it now, so far so good. Another guy that is around here put a triple from Kenny in his truck last week and he is finally runnin' 5th and it seems to be doing better on the track.

Got the triplple disc today still on my way home but I will say I GOT my moneys worth and I will pot pics soon

I got to see his new clutch in person yesterday. And it does look pretty nice. For 1800 I'll have one next year. Good meeting you yesterday too.
