i pulled the injectors out today and there were 2 with split orings.

Very lucky that thing didn't hydrolock itself on fuel. Did you pull the injectors when you did the gaskets?

it did hydrolock itself. :bang after we tried to restart it.
the machine shop guy pulled and reinstalled the injectors when he shaved the heads down

I was just trying to wash off that oil from inside the intake.

well got it running, 1 on the injectors was missing the copper washer. and it seems to be running good.
i think they took something like .0010 or something with a 10 in there, dont really remember.

It was missing the copper washer or it didn't come out when you pulled the injector out to check them?

it was missing. i checked with a mirror to make sure it was stuck down there.
