Ummmm, yeah. Supposed to. Full fuel immediately regardless of boost and at all rpms over 1000. That is why it is named DYNO, which is appropriate.

and the torque tune was similar to the old old 3000 tune, it was driveable with a light foot, but if you wound it out a little it would shudder!

Are you talking about at the rev limiter or is it like the pump is running dry? If you lower the Power Level to PL07 or so does this shudder go away?

firmware, is that where you have to send it in?

Yes, and if you don't get it done, there is no chance that any of the high power tunes will ever be smooth on higher levels without this updated. I think we crossed that bridge last October or something? How long have you had the box and can you get me a serial #.

Do you have a Pulse?
 

I didn't realize my reply came across so unclear, sorry. If you think you're having a problem with a box and you have the option, install the questionable box on another/similar truck to see if the same problem transfers over.

no i am talking about when i got over about 1/4 throttle, and the truck got up over 2000 rpms, just driving normal, it would like accelerate a lttle, then it not, then accelerate a little then not!

No, pulse and I have had my adr since around this time last year! I'l see If ican't find you a serial number
 
Try it with a timing box like an edge EZ. You can find them cheap used.
