Tubular exhaust manifolds

I do , here is the CR , 2nd gen, and 1st gen manifold ,
extra opitions include Polydyne coatings inside and out , and EGT bungs drilled and taped on both banks , or on all 6 tubes.
WE have over 80 sets out with zero problems, and this is the same header we run on Project X diesel making over 1050 hp with a single II SB 72 turbo.

Those are as sweet as it gets Greg. I plan to get one once I get the "have to have" done on the puller. Even sweet when you see them in person. Gilmore brought his back and its sweet!!

Greg:

What's the I.D. of those headers?
After porting on my head and a junk head, there's room for a 2" I.D. fitting/tubing. Would this be too big for flow?

can you get the second gen to fit on a commonrail truck with a t-4 foot? whats the price?

saw a dyno sheet from back to back testing with the same truck same mods and used a 3 piece manifold compared to a tubular header. not the one above but similar and it made 12 more hp on the top end but lost almost 200 under the curve

Ive never understud these, sure they look great but...."heat" is your friend when it comes to driving that big turbine wheel. Its why many coat and wrap thier heavy thick cast manifolds... heat retintion.
I could even def. see them out flowing the manifolds but the question would be does this increase in flow off set the loss of drive from heat? No idea.

If you could find this sheet it would be much appreciated!

so what does one of these sweet tubular exhaust manifolds for a 2nd gen go for? a pm would fine if you don't want everyone to know.

Anybody out there know how much $ for a 12V T4, have been told T4 is $50 more than a T3,:bang but not how much for a T3 :what:

Geat header, just what it should look like. Does the ceramic coating save a lot of the heat? Do you have a 3rd gen header yet? How much?

Yep, it was one of mine. It was a thrid gen style, it looks like smaller id tubing will help the velocity, and splitting the pulses may help as well.

All I can think is its got more volume to fill, therefore loosing the low-end power, but freer flowing up top. I will try a different design or just stay with the second gen style on all trucks. JP definitely got me some good info though.

Greg do you have any back to back testing on yours?

yeah they were talking about the more volume to fill with the hearder type and it made sence. hearder looked very very good expecially with that nice wrap job you did on it. very clean looking.

Thanks for the props but JP wrapped his header, it does look sweet.:rockwoot:

With this theory I wounder how the equal length headers will do, as they have much more volume.

they spool quicker , and sould different , with the pulses reaching directly to the turbo .
just got a call, from one person on her , I'll let him tell more if he want , but he is very impressed with the power , and the sould is way cool
