Tubular exhaust manifolds

so has anyone that is running one of these noticed a difference down low while driving? (not on a dyno)

Ok...what im going to say here is my personal findings on a header that a buddy and i built ourselfs... not the one by the fab shop or any other! Be awair of open collectors for street driving, they tend to loose power down low, for racing only they work well! In my findings, a header that has a divided collector and small choked down ariea (venturi) in the collector works better for low end spool up and drivability!(more air speed) My dyno gragh shows that my power was identical from 1400 to 2100 stock to header... after 2100 the header started making more power...and from 2300 to 2900 it made 24 hp more then the stock manifold and then she guit fueling!

Now for the non believers...sorry but i don't have a camera or a scanner to put my dyno sheets up on this forum! I don't have anything to gain by blowing you all BS, so take my word for what i'v found and use it to your advantage...or don't!!!

Wish I had before and after dyno runs. It feels like the truck gained 300 - 400 horsepower since I installed the header.

(There may have been a few other things installed at the same time.lol)

I switched from an ATS 2nd gen 3 piece man, to a header with 1 7/8" non equel length tubes (looks just like the ats but built out of steel tubing). I have not had it on the dyno but can say that spooling is slower and EGTs are 200*-300* less throughout the whole rpm range. Where I could easily hit 1600 on my pyro I can barely get 1300. IMO well worth it to me.

Heres a pic.

What kind of coating is on that? How does it preform?
It is the polydyn high temp ceramic coting. & so far seems to perform & sound GREAT! just crusing on the HWY & 70+ seems to be at least a 150* drop in EGT's & even more than that when i put my foot in to it.

Sorry man I cant say the price I can say that Both Greg & Carl from Polydyn took care of me. You Guys ROCK!!! Thanks
