Tuckahoe Easton, MD test&tune

I wish i had gotten the converter in my truck in time to pull. looks like some good running trucks were out there.
 
What was the deal with the red cummins?

Was he in too high of a gear or was something mechanically wrong on the truck?

It looked as tho he would be a really strong runner.:what:

its a typical cummins that cant get the rpms up :blahblah1:

its a weighted clutch, at high rpms even tho you have the pedal pushed in, the weights in the clutch will try to engage the clutch from the centrifugal force. the clutch was trying to engage and make the truck launch way before he reached the proper rpm/boost.

i think you left before his second attempt but he got it spooled and it was screaming when a rubber intercooler boot decided it wanted to be in multiple pieces instead of 1.
 
I believe the turbo is done too, its never good when you can move the shaft in and out.
 
hahaha typical my cummins, one day ill make it down the track without a problem lol
