Seems pretty descriptive ?What Model ?
You shouldn't assume gender these day, Sir or Ma'am.Or he's more special than specialist?
Chris
Lol I guess for a s300 just the turbine housing. I had one back in 2011 and like an idiot sold it. I know they had some issues that were found out later on but would still like to find one if possible. I mean as many as were out there someone has to still have one laying around back shelf or as door stop lol. Thanks
Yea, I've got an old turbonetics Y2K that i picked up at a swap meet when i was stationed in socal that's been sitting in my barn since 2009. I always wanted to do something with it just never got around to it.That's how I feel about the super b special. Would love to have one of the old school turbos to play with.
Lol lucky, I've been looking for almost 3 months. I've been on 3 different Facebook pages, here Cummins forum, and tdr. The 71 is the older clipped wheel isn't it? Your one of 3 that's even really known what I was talking about let alone have one. I loved it back when I had one shouldn't of gotten rid of it. But sold it for I think it was a killer b2 64/65 .8 but had lots of surge, just had a stock truck then. Mainly I just want to experiment with one. I have ddp 60%s now, either try it on my 63/480 setup or i have also have sxe64/73 single. Or even a 65mm I can turn it to 68 or 73.I have a 13cm 71 tw stainless htt housing and I believe i know where a 16cm 71 one is as well. No 68's
They are still pretty cool. Never ran it, but I grabbed for sentimental reasons as I always wanted one. I will double check the 16cm tw spec though
I'm pretty sure you can still get a SPS64; same thing(64/71/14). I never had any luck with the 71mm turbine on any compressor wheel combination. It actually seemed to be too "free flowing" for a VP.That's how I feel about the super b special. Would love to have one of the old school turbos to play with.
I guess I figured those were different somehow even though the numbers match. Or maybe I got too hung up on threads like bponci’s and such. Just seems I never heard anything about the SPS but tons on the Special.I'm pretty sure you can still get a SPS64; same thing(64/71/14).
