hey i need some help choosing a new turbo. how would the 62/71/13 work on the pickup in my sig.? i do a little towing (maybe once a month with a 25ft stock trailer and cows) but mostly just a daily driver. howwould it fair with that? any other turbo suggestions?

I would recommend either a 62/71/14 or a Silver 62. That is a great combo.

I am running a 62/71/14 with 150's and an edge drag comp. This combo works real nice for a street truck. However I am currently craving more.

I run the BD super single it works great, good bang for your buck I think, great for towing and future mods, I run 100hp inj and modded pump with smarty/ edge stack, but I bought an adrenaline to try havent got it yet though.

Not right now. The II version of the super B [57/65/12] is in that ballpark new.

ya i looked at that on diesel auto power but they said it wouldnt support my pickup as well as a 62/65/12 or a little bigger, im justnot sure which way to go  i want something i can do a little street racing with that aint gonna blow the motor so i want a smalle rturbo, but at the same time i want alot of power from a big turbo

yours is prolly better fitted for that turbo than mine tho. ur chips stacked and that modded pump prolly help you alot.

hey Smoken, would u sell me your turbo? then youcould get a bigger one :lolly:

I daily drive it with smarty on 4 and edge on 1 even with it all on 0 it still works great, no surging and can support almost 500hp

Is this for the CR in your sig? Thats a little different than a vp truck.

its on my 98.5 vp truck, when everything is on 0 yes it has a slight lag compared to stock hx but totally streetable and still tow doesnt even bark I was impressed anyway

I put a 62/65/12 on my 12-valve and regretted not going with a 14 housing. Ran too warm even with fairly mild fueling. It was a poor replacement for the old DD Jammer it replaced, ran much warmer and only somewhat better spool.

62/71/14 is the best all around turbo choice for a do it all truck...IMO

I'm running a PS62/65/14 with Juice and DDP 110 sticks. Tows like a dream but a tad slow on spool. I'd really like to try out a 12cm housing or a 71/14 combo to see what the differences are. The one I have cools great, but bobtail, it is a touch slow and a tad smokey. I'd love a tad more air to get rid of the haze at cruising but I don't want to lose too much up top. Dyno's at 450/972.

To answer your original ? "how would the 62/71/13 work", don't know first hand, but sounds pretty good to me. If you get it and don't like it...I'd like to try it for a week. :D
