FWIW, I'm beginning to really like the GT42's...VERY simialr to the S400's, but seems to be a lot more housing options available! That and compressor maps are readily available!

So far I've seen/had...GT42's
70mm/1.01 W/G Housing <----- On Joefarmer's rig.
70mm/1.15 W/G Housing <----- $50 Core that needs rebuilt...Top charger in towing twins!

And my GT45R
70mm/1.01 Non-W/G housing Ball bearing! Gonna be made into a 75, or 80mm charger...not sure yet:D:D

Also, the S400's can have either an 85mm turbine side, or a 95mm like a B2...IIRC!! At least these are the two I've seen...I'm sure ther are more options!

I feel sad you left me out, come on now

Wow kep them comming guys, I have a PS64 and wondering why I still have a little surge?

S-500 has been preceeded by the S-510:kick:

The S-510 can be had with inducer wheel sizes from 86 mm to 95 mm:rockwoot:

And there is a newer bad boy unit called the S-95:aiwebs_029:

The S-95 can be had with inducer wheel sizes from 95 mm to 104 mm:woohoo:
Both use a .472 shaft.....

Any info on the B-52?

I am also looking for info on the Garrett Thumper Turbos too now if anyone is sitting with that info:lolly:

Worthwhile phone call I take it. I would have thought the S500 would be replaced with a newer model just like the S310 and S410.

No doubts on that thanks. Jose was very knowledgeable. Interesting info was traded around.:evil

Smokem, do you have that info on the HX-80?:poke: :poke: :poke: :evil

Wow...I knew the HX82's were big, but I didn't think they were THAT big.

I could have bought one for $400 once, but I passed it up:(

Chris

Them big ol Holsets are harder to find, and usually a little more expensive from what I've seen.

I'll stick with trying my custom GT45R for now;);)

Here are some Holset flow rates for comparison purposes. There is 2.25kg's in 1lb, the designations are kg's per second and lbs per minute.
HX50 0.75kg/s ~ 101lb/m
HX60 0.95kg/s ~ 128lb/m
HX80 1.3kg/s ~ 176lb/m
HX82 1.5kg/s ~ 203lb/m
