Turbo humming..?

I noticed today under acceleration right as my hx35 starts to build boost there was a humming noise. Never heard this before and not really sure what to think. Seemed to have lost a bit of power & EGT's spiked up faster than usual. Didn't cause any codes. Fuel pressure is fine at 18psi. Signs of a bad turbo?

In my experience any kazoo vibration whistle noise was an exhaust leak.

Yeah i'm going to check for leaks soon. Iv'e had plenty of those thru out the years but never associated with this sound.. I recently went thru and checked/ re-torqued all hardware as well. So it would be very surprising if something was leaking/loose. Just seems since this compound install iv'e had nothing but issues lol. Thanks for the input.
