i have 5x.014 injectors, sdx comp dvs, no plate, rack plug and 4k gsk on the fuel side. maybe a street cam. i have 3.55 gears, 33x12.5 tires, auto

i called forced inductions, and talked to them about a turbo, and they sugested a s472/83 in a T4 .90 housing. what do yall think about this turbo for my set up? would i need to put an external wastegate on it?
 
depends what r doing with your truck just a puller or do u still dd it

it hasnt been on the road since september of last year lol. its mostly just a pull truck, that i may ocasionaly drive, and make a few passes down the strip.
 
Good setup, and a good guy to deal with.
You will need a fairly loose convertor to get it lit at the line.

If your sledpulling you won't fit in the 2.6 without working on the turbo.

I personally would go with the 475. I ran both, and the truck liked the 475 better. A gate would be nice, but not necessary. I ran without a gate one year, until you get to cranking it over 4000rpm the drive pressure would run about 70-75 with about 52-55 psi of boost

what are u meaning by working on the turbo?
the guy i talked to said they could make it 2.6 legal with wheel protrusion.

what stall do u think i should go with on the convertor?
 
Call Dave Georend up and talk with him about your set up. He has a new real loose all diesel converter out, that works awesome. In 4lo i can get about 28-2900 rpm and my 30 turbo takes off. Hell set u rite up.
