I have a 96 Dodge with a 5 speed that I sled pull with. Currently I have:

5 Spd 4x4 with Big SB Clutch
Factory P-Pump with Lazered DV's
370 Injectors
Plate Out
Timing set at 20 degrees
4K Spring and HD Valve Springs
BD Super B Turbo (57mm)

I am fixing to pull the 370's out and put in 435's and bump the timing a bit. I am probably going to replace the 4k springs with 5 k's. I just am tired of being middle of the class during our pulls, I want to be competitive.

Now the problem...I already have plenty of fuel for my little Super B, so my question is:

Can I do any upgrades to my Super B to stay competitive or should I step up. I like my super B as it is prectically brand new, with 5 pulls on it. I just know I am going to hurt it real bad. My class is a 2.5" class so the options are limited.

What are your thoughts?

Well,
Your super B is 57mm and flows about 60 lbs per minute.
A good 2.5" turbo can flow anywhere from 70-85 lbs per minute.

I think you need to step up your turbo to be anywhere near the front of the pack and be competitive. It sounds like cost is an issue, you might have to sacrifice some street-ability for a cheaper turbo that flows pretty well. Good street manners usually cost more.
