I have some questions about turbos that only ya'll users can answer.
So here we go!
1.How well would a sledpuller 66 spool on a 02? Mods are 100 hp jammers, comp box and a II hrvp, with a walbro lift pump. Tranny is a NV4500.
would this turbo be streetable or bad laggy? This my dd.
2. How many dif sizes of a s300 are there, and would this be a good single turbo? I think i've read that most or all s300's are a 62's?

I wanted a 62 but i've been told that a 64 would be great also. A 66 ,which a friend of has. Nobody seems to be able to tell me wether or not it's to big or not.

Thanks in advance, any and all info is greatlly appreciated.

i would get a good set of 7x12s from smokem on here and should be decent on the street and light at 1800rpms with a s366 for a dd i would go s364 all the turbos you metioned are are s300 variation

I have an 6-speed truck, and have ran a 62/71 and a 66/71, and the 66 was a little laggy for my tastes but the 62 lights well, depending on what the truck is used for I would get a 62 or 64!

It also depends on what exhaust wheel and housing you are looking at! i love my 62/71 but i would also like to try a 62/74 and a 64/71!

you can't beat a 62/71 on the street for an all around truck though!

i am running a s300 2.6 turbo with almost the same setup as you but an auto and its laggy on the street but i am waiting for a smaller exhaust housing to help with that problem also i only have a SO pump

I just dont think a 66 would be a fun DD, although maybe it could be with the right injectors. But 100hp jammers are not enough.

64/71/13 would be the best of both worlds, spool and top end for a DD. They have a pretty broad map also.

Thanks guy's for all the info. Any advise on injector size would be great also.

Thanks,Stephen

My 62/71 is pretty laggy with my tight convertor. I wouldn't go bigger than a 64/71 for a DD in a vp pumped truck with my jammer 4's smoke is kind of hard to manage at my elevation.

I have a 62/71 with ddp4's (150) and they are clean, I can tow anything, and it spools well! pretty much a great all around 550hp setup, i would definetley recommend ddp injectors, mine are cleaner than my jammer 2's, and i rarely see over 1300 on the pyro

I have a 64/71 with 200 hp injectors, and spool isn't that bad, lights around 1800 rpm, the only issue I have is that my egts get a little high if I stay on the skinny pedal for too long.

im running pretty much the identical set up as you mudn and i also agree i love it! very clean set up and is a blast to drive on the street!!

im running a 66/74 and it lites at 2600 with my 7x.018's (315 over stock) not much fun to drive on the street but when it lites it goes like no other. im looking to step it down to a 62/74 or 64/74 for a little more driveability

your turbo should lite alot sooner than 2600rpms i would think it should be around 1800 rpms and those are some very large injectors

what are your max egts with that set up? I think if you go with a smaller turbo your gonna have to get smaller injectors too or just get twins!

the reason it lights so late is bec there is to much fuel and its killing the fire
heres a vid of the truck on the rollers

egt's are on the hot side 8-900 cruising and id say close to 2000 at wot with water/meth, the injectors do need alot of air the bullet doesnt clear them up with the comp off. i was going to hang a s480 under the bullet but that would really kill driveability so im going to put a 62 or 64/74 on there for now then hang a really big spinny thing under that so its not to bad on the street since i still DD this truck

Sounds like to much fuel, where did you get the injectors?

Twins!!!
