I am running pretty much everything in my sig. Im looking for some more power but it is a daily driver(crooked country roads) and i dont want a lot of lag. Right now wit the stock charger i can pretty much instantly spool it and it never drops below 15psi between shifts. But the egt go out the window once i get to 3rd gear and in 5th on the high end. I dont tow much and i will prolly get in to some drag racing maybe some pulling if the 2wd classes get goin. i was guessing around a 66 or 68 mm inducer size but im not sure about the exducer and exhaust housing size. i just dont have that much experience wit turbos to know wat the right combo would be. We did put a 62mm s300 off a 3126 cat motor on my buddy's 12v and it spools just as good as the stock charger(all he has is full cut dvs). Id appreciate any input on this.

if it were mine and i wanted a big single i would first try a 62/74

and i'd build a afc for it so i could tune the thing

i think it will drive better with an afc

Really? You don't like your 64/71? Those and the s400 mentioned above are two of the best deals I've seen out there. The best deal being the one Jeff's buddy already found.

i love it

but have not tried the silver 62 yet

lol

with his fuel mods was thinking he might benifit from the larger ex

and still spool quick with the 62 comp

well a guy i know pulls tractors and he has a s400 im not sure wat the inducer size is but it seems to be around a 68 or 69mm and the housing isnt very big but the exhaust side is like a 71 or maybe bigger wit a like a 20cm or bigger housing wit a t4 flange( i need to mic it to get the exact numbers). It is brand new he never ran it. he said he would take 400 for it but my buddy doesnt seem to think it would be very streetable.

there are many variations of that turbo

if it does not have ett compressor wheel its worthless to fellow high perf truck enthusiasts

the tags will give the comp size and the ex housing will have an A/R on it.

got the numbers

The model # is S400S069 the P/N # 631GC5153AM2X the S/N # J3102 351 R9. Its says it is made for mack truck and has Mack trucks stamped on the comp. housing. I somewhat measured it and the inducer is around a 65mm and the exhaust wheel is around a 71mm or 72mm. The comp housing has 053A and 673121 A stamped on it. The exhaust housing has 697828 DUC384 and 125 B-2 stamped on it. Any input on this will be helpful as far as wat its worth and the input on ppl that have ran one of this as a single. I think it would be good as a single but its kinda small to use as the bottom charger on a twin setup

Nobody knows anything about this charger

take both housings off

get some calipers

measure both wheels

inspect the comp wheel to determine if it is ett tech or not

the a/r ratio of ea housing should be cast into it

report back

don

The inducer is a 66mm and the exhaust side is a 72mm. whats the best way to tell if its ett or not. will this make a big diff or not. The numbers that i have post earlier r all the numbers that i could find on it.

The inducer is a 66mm and the exhaust side is a 72mm. NICE

whats the best way to tell if its ett or not. ett wheels are kinda curved at the exducer. like an extension of the fin

will this make a big diff or not. they say yes, but i dont know have never tried a non ett wheel. would think they make more boost cuz they move more air. thats all i know...sorry

what size housings?

does it have a gate?

sounds like a pretty big charger for a single - almost a silver bullet

ps - karl has a link with pix if you pm him

It sounds like an s465... though their inducer is 65.3mm. The AR should be cast INSIDE the exhaust flange I think
