Greetings to all,
I am looking at upgrading my turbo you can see what else is on my truck below. Also to give you an idea of what I plan on doing on top of the turbo is intake and exhaust manifolds, possibly intercooler, Smarty stack, Studs and head work eventually.

I have been looking at ATS Aurora 3000 but I have not seen a lot of people with them so was wondering what you all thought about it?

I use my truck for mild towing and performance but it is a daily driver.
I have also looked at HTT 62/65/13 SS and Turbonetics Stage 2 upgrade for the Cummins.

The biggest thing that leans me towards the Aurora 3000 is price and next is the ability to later on down the road call ATS and order the compound upgrade kit for that turbo. (includes a wastegated housing for the 3000 and a 5000 turbo)

Overall I have to have a good daily driving turbo that works well with the 5-speed for spool time.
Any advice would be appreciated

Anyone can chime in that is currently running an after market turbo and a 5-speed basically I am concerned with is the driveability and spool time. Just toss in what your setup is and how you like it

My brother has an Aurora 4000 on his 12v auto. Spools great, just as fast as an overfueled HX35. The 3000 would make a sweet DD. Nice truck BTW.

My vote goes to the htt all the way. I dont know much about the ats but ive ran the htt turbo and it was nice

I would get a good 62/71 or 65/14 for that truck. It is very hard to beat these turbos for the price and durability/drivability. Plus you could always put an s4 under it in a twin setup and be done with it. JMHO

The HTT 62/71/13ss would be a good turbo for you. Will also work good in a set of twins.

3rd gen HE351 spools quickly and is a blast for daily driving and towing. It lacks a little air on the top end at the track as evidenced by my time slips showing a loss of power on the big end.

It's better than the HX35 and relatively inexpensive.
