Turbo's

Our Chargers are based off of BorgWarner's S300 series.

We are currently offering two different turbine wheels for all but the 58mm compressor wheel. The combinations are:

62mm compressor wheel with either a 65mm or 71mm turbine wheel
64mm compressor wheel with either a 65mm or 71mm turbine wheel
66mm compressor wheel with either a 71mm or 74mm turbine wheel

The 58mm comes with a 65mm turbine wheel. There is really no since in using a 71mm turbine wheel with a 58mm compressor wheel. The 62/65 will work better for those applications.

Wouldn't the 65mm exhaust wheel be too small on the 64mm??? (Based on the measurements I sent you about mine.)

Could the 66mm with the 71mm or 74mm wheel pull a trailer of 8000+ lbs? (Wastegated)

Would 190's be enough fuel to lite a 66mm?

Thanks

The 65mm wheel will work if you have a wastegated housing and not a lot of fuel. You had a lot of fuel and needed a bigger turbine wheel and a wastegate.

We have a truck in here right now with 185's from RCD and our 66mm with a 71 turbine wheel with a 70a/r non-wastegated (it doesn't need it). The charger spools pretty seamless and is fun to drive. The problem is that when we are over 100 degrees, the air isn’t dense enough and he is extremely smoky until it really lights. We will be switching up his combination to address that and give him more low end power.

We do not recommend towing with a 66. Can it be done, if you know what you are doing and have a tune for that. Should it be done, not in our opinion. We do not recommend towing with a 66. 64mm’s can tow up to 10,000lbs anything above that, a 62 is recommended. Above 18,000 a 58 is recommended.
