I am running 64\74\14 but I was wanting to run twins. I was thinking s400 any advice ie sizes,pros,and cons thanks

I think that it would be a nice set up. I have seen more people hang s480 under them insted of the 400.

go with an s475 if you want it to spool quick. S480's have a tendency to make twins laggy....

if u can deal with a little lag for the sake of some good power, i'd do a S480 and have all the power u want

if it were me i'd go with a S475 or S480 with an ext. waste gate

would head studs be needed and also head work.

Definitely have to do studs and o-rings.

at least O-ring the head, you dont need studs with the proper torque on them your head bolts will work and do fine.

Why do you say you need headwork with twins? I'm getting ready to put twins on my truck, hx35 over ht3b. You think studs won't hold that?

i have studs for my hx35 over ht3b and it holds just fine. i have a friend that ran 65psi on studs and stock head gasket for 3yrs and no problems.

That's what I was figurin. Buddy of mine has his head studded and pulls with about 60-65lbs of boost. Didn't know if with twins there was somethin diffrnt.

I wouldnt mind lookin at some set-ups. The pic in my sig is from a HX40 that imploded so he is runnin a HX35 for time being with a bigger wastegate pushing 47psi. He has studs but not sure bout o-ring. Im looking into possible doing a twin setup for him with a Hb3t were lookin at buyin. He made 360hp and 900tq. Im just tryin to get an idea of what would be best for a street truck.

I couldnt agree more. But I wanna try it on someone elses truck first and see how I like it begore I do somethin like this on mine. Im just still iffy on what kinda tubing. I did my own straight pipe exhaust and my dad got mandral bent fittings from somewhere. Guess that would be the best thing to use???
