Twins Oil Drain Question

How far down on the pan are you guys putting the atmospheric turbo's oil drain?

mine is 2 inches below the lip

As close to the top as possible and still be able to weld the top of the bung.

Ok thanks,

Is there any way the throws of the crank will hit it if it is too close to the top of the pan (at least if the fitting is threaded in pretty far into the bung)?

Got it welded up with Thread-o-let fitting, and looks pretty good.
