It would be if it was a 3rd gen but still would make some good numbers as well as streetable still that's a good all out towin and playin setup sounds like a bd setup

Didnt Morse have this twin setup in a reg cab 12V and run a 11.5x?

He sold it for nothing.

:doh::bang

Man, I almost bought that truck too....You just reminded me how big of a dumba$$ I am!!

I personally would go as small as possible for the street that still makes your target HP. Even a stock HX35 over S475 will make 675 HP. In my opinion, smaller faster spooling turbos are more fun for street driving than larger turbos that run cooler.

For example, my truck with the HE351cw is more fun to drive than my friends truck with very similar mods and 62/71/14. My turbo does not pull as hard on the top end and suffers from higher than normal drive pressure in upper RPM's but it's a screamer around town or out horsing around in the mud.

Sure my truck hits 1750-1820* EGT in the 1/4 mile, how often in a legal street driving situation do you run from 0-95 mph WOT? I like stabbing the throttle in 3rd gear with a responsive turbo that makes power immediately and still has enough airflow to make 500 HP.

i know exactly where you are coming from but on the other side of the coin all that torque the small turbos make...its hard on stuff

then theres the heat issue

and how long the turbo lasts

Im not disagreeing with you on all of the above, BUT That's also how you end up breaking lots of Chit!!! Mainly tranny hard parts.....That Quick spool up is what makes TONS of low end TQ ......I little slower spool gives the HP time to come in and the TQ to flaten out a bit....Easier on Parts...

But, I DO love a fast spoolin truck!!! So I understand!!

I thought I saw him run a 10.5 on Pass Time. No???

Not with the Red/Silver 12V...It was a 11.50 machine...

His Short Bed CR Made some 10 sec. passes on the Squeeze I believe...He sold that to Jim L. I think...
