My Dads 02 F-350, 6spd, 4wd, has had a problem for the last couple years with a squealing issue that we are sure is in the serpentine belt system, but not exactly sure what is causing it. The only time it does it is at least 2000rpm or higher with the Cooling Fan clutch engaged and the A/C compressor clutch DIS-engaged. When either one does the opposite then it stops, whether it be the fan clutch dis-engaging or the a/c clutch engages. Doesn't matter if it is sitting there in neutral or driving down the road. We have replace both the Fan clutch and A/c clutch, top idler puller, belt tensioner, both alternators. Only thing left is the P/S pump, water pump, the whole A/C pump, and the lower idler pulley between the belt tensioner and the lower alternator. Any idea's on what could be causing this issue?
On a side note, we have a 95 F350 at work with a 351W, 5spd, 2wd that has the same issue but only at 4000rpm RPM or higher. Have replaced literally everything on it except the P/S pump and a couple tensioners and it still does it.
